At Aurora, we believe in the magic of making. That’s why we invite makers, artists, and creative entrepreneurs like you to host workshops in one of our four welcoming stores. Whether you're a seasoned instructor or trying it out for the first time, we’re here to help you shine and share your craft with an eager, creative audience.
What You’ll Love About Hosting at Aurora
Workshops are held during store hours and designed for small, intimate groups — with a minimum of 6 participants. While we typically recommend a maximum of 10 to keep the experience hands-on and personal, we're always open to chatting with you! If you have a workshop concept that could welcome a few more creatives, just let us know — we’d be happy to explore the possibilities together.
Get creative! We’re open to all kinds of workshop ideas, including:
Drawing Cherry Blossoms with ink and a straw
Crocheting a cute stuffed toy
Painting plants or animals with watercolor
Creating your own mini terrarium
Abstract art with string and acrylics
Digital illustration – participants bring their iPads
Making earrings or other jewelry
…or any other original creative concept you're passionate about teaching!
Workshops typically last 2 to 3 hours and are held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The suggested price per participant is at least €25.
Costs & Revenue – Made Simple and Fair
There’s no rental fee to use our space. Instead, we take a 20% commission from the total workshop revenue.
Example:
If your workshop is €25 per person and 8 people join, total revenue = €200
€160 goes to you
€40 supports Aurora
We also help promote your workshop and provide in-store staff to assist you and your group. We handle registrations, payments, and invoicing, so you can focus on what you do best — teaching and creating!
Go Live & Grow Your Brand
Feel free to live stream parts of your workshop or share the experience on your Instagram. It’s a great way to connect with new followers and showcase your talent.
A Little Extra for Your Participants
Add a special touch to your workshop with our premium Kung-Fu tea service — a beautiful, authentic tea-pouring experience that your participants will love.
Drink options(mandatory):
€3.50 for unlimited premium tea / soft drinks
€6 for 2 different drinks
(Please note: outside food and drinks aren’t allowed)
What Aurora Provides
We’ve got the basics covered — tables, and a welcoming atmosphere.
** You’ll just need to bring table cloth (paper/plastic table cloth), materials for your workshop and help tidy up afterward (cleaning tables and disposing of rubbish).
